Campaigning for smarter, greener transport in Europe
Established in 1990, Transport & Environment has grown to become the principal environmental organisation campaigning on sustainable transport at the EU level in Brussels.
We represent, and are supported by around 50 member organisations working to promote an environmentally sound approach to transport across Europe.
We coordinate the International Coalition for Sustainable Aviation (ICSA) which has observer status at the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and are members of the Clean Shipping Coalition (CSC) which has observer status at the International Maritime Organisation (IMO). Transport & Environment is also recognised as an NGO in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.
We are also a member of the Green 10 group of European environmental NGOs and Green Budget Europe.
